challenges, in no small part because of the historic
nature of the project. But by working closely with city
agencies we ensured that we met all requirements, and
ultimately transformed what was once a boxing ring,
then later a restaurant, and finally an office space into
a must-see cultural venue. The result is a beautifully
designed new space and a vibrant museum that brings
to life the past, present and future of the Tenderloin.
