Reflecting the diverse culture of the Kingdom, the Saudi Garden and Pavilion is set to be a unique attraction at the Expo 2023 Doha. Dar provided the engineering design and supervised the construction of this exceptional pavilion and garden to ensure harmony within the design and effective functionality of each feature.

The project
The Saudi Pavilion and Garden at the Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha is located beside the Qatari Pavilion in the Expo Park, taking up five plots over an area of 5,500 m2 and easily accessible by the main pathway. The plan consists of a main building with one floor and a roof terrace, a unique media-fence enveloping the building and landscape, and the associated external areas, walls, fences, security systems and landscaping.
Dar led the design review of the detailed design for the development of the pavilion and garden concept design, taking into consideration the theme of the Expo: “Green Desert, Better Environment.” The design review and supervision services focused on delivering a complete and harmonised garden and pavilion that complies with all relevant local and international codes and standards. Our experts ensured that all design elements are technically sound and the development will operate safely and efficiently.
