Overview
Kuwait Municipality commissioned Dar to produce the 4th Kuwait Master Plan, a strategic visioning and development plan up to 2040. The Kuwait Master Plan 2040 will provide a comprehensive and deliverable physical structure framework to guide decision making at national, regional, metropolitan and Kuwait City scales. The plan would define the vision for Kuwait with aspirations for economic diversification, ensure asset and resource security, expand future productive employment, provide, social, health, and education to optimal standards and promote resilience.

The project
We provided a development and planning strategy including socioeconomic and demographic analysis and projections, sector analysis, scenario development, economic strategy, and industrial cluster assessment to optimise spatial growth. These key elements will identify and define the critical drivers and foundations of the future success of the plan. This includes the development of detailed master plans, strategic capital blueprints and implementation and monitoring plans. This will move the country to ‘SmartState Kuwait’.
