On Thursday, August 9, Dar’s Director Yehia Zaki met with President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli to discuss the future and timeline of new cities to be built in Egypt – including the New Administrative Capital – a project in which Dar is playing a major role.

The meeting focused on establishing a plan that would revitalise Egypt’s urban identity and on a special review of ‘Capital Park’ Development Corridor, which is a series of mixed-use districts that are centered on an unprecedented new urban park. The project -- being planned and designed by Dar -- is set to become a symbol of Egypt’s culture and progress, delivering contemporary business environments, generating new employment opportunities, and setting a higher standard of urban living.
