Designing sports facilities for stronger communities
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) assigned Dar Al-Handasah to design and supervise the construction of a fully-equipped sports complex that includes two football fields, a beach volleyball court, sports building, mosque, spa health club, players’ changing rooms, diving pool, and climate chamber.

The project
We provided a master plan, and conducted preliminary and final designs. Our team worked on tender documents and supervised the construction of the building. The scope of our work included:
- All landscaping and streetscaping features
- Internal road network
- Electromechanical / low current services
- Wet infrastructure
