The Ministry of Municipalities & Tourism within the Kurdistan Regional Government assigned Dar to develop a visionary masterplan for the city of Erbil. The plan includes guidelines to redevelop the different districts with relevant community facilities. Dar’s masterplan would transform the city into a space that would ease citizens’ work and daily lives.

Our master plan included institutional and governmental facilities, along with commercial, civic and cultural spaces. We supported our master plan with a detailed design for the city center and included the following elements:
