The MENA Alliance for Green Schools has seen a successful launch during World Green Building Week in Abu Dhabi. The coalition's founding members include World GBC, Dar, Emirates GBC, Egypt GBC, and Lebanon GBC, who have come together to achieve their collective vision for greener and healthier schools in the MENA region.

 

The Alliance is now actively seeking regional partners to help realize this vision in line with international programs including the USGBC Center for Green Schools, the UNESCO Program, and the Canada Eco Schools platform.

 

In major upcoming events, the MENA Alliance for Green Schools will take part in the United Nations MENA Climate Week 2023 in Riyadh on October 9 and will lead a dedicated session at COP28 in Dubai.
