The Energy Intelligence module within PARA OS, the building analytics and digital twin platform developed by the Sidara company PARA with the support of Dar’s digital solutions department, has been officially featured in the Verdantix “Smart Innovators: Energy Management Software 2025” report.

Verdantix, an independent research and advisory firm, is widely regarded as a trusted authority on digital transformation, ESG, sustainability, and energy innovation. Their reports are used by executive decision-makers in over 100 countries and are grounded in objectivity, analytical rigour, and industry foresight.

PARA OS was recognised for facilitating automated diagnostics, alerting, and response with its advanced integration of asset-level monitoring with technician workflows and real-time fault resolution through digital twin dashboards, offering enhanced control and operational efficiency for facilities teams. Verdantix also offered an extensive capability assessment on PARA OS, with exceptional ranking for the software’s capabilities in energy procurement and risk management; energy monitoring, analytics, and reporting; operations and control; carbon management; and project and performance management.

PARA OS was additionally featured in a separate Verdantix report on digital twins, titled “Strategic Focus: Using Digital Twins for Next-Gen Energy Management and Maintenance.” The report highlights Dar’s LEED Gold-certified Cairo headquarters as a case study. The building achieved substantial energy savings by leveraging the PARA OS platform, with occupancy data and building systems insights enabling targeted HVAC optimisation, predictive controls, and dynamic adjustments. The digital twin acknowledged energy inefficiencies by merging building systems data with occupant insights, which resulted in more than 25% of power savings have been identified from occupancy-driven optimisation, with 10% from the optimal start-up prediction, along with another 10% from the dynamic setpoint resets. These capabilities delivered immediate cost savings, clearly reflected in utility bills. The platform played a key role in earning LEED Gold for Operation and Maintenance for the Cairo headquarters.

The inclusion of PARA OS in both the Smart Innovators and Strategic Focus reports reinforces its position at the forefront of sustainable digital solutions for the built environment and highlights our continued commitment to impactful innovation.
