Dar’s facilities management (FM) sector plays a vital role in supporting client operations by improving built environments across diverse industries. From daily functionality to long-term strategic planning, the FM team utilises technical expertise, sustainability, and digital innovation to enhance asset performance and longevity.

To ensure our teams remain at the forefront of global best practices, Dar has partnered with the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) to deliver the prominent Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification to engineers across the region. Recognized globally, the FMP is an advanced credential that validates knowledge and expertise in four core areas essential to FM success: operations and maintenance, project management, finance and business, and leadership and strategy.

The training campaign launched in September 2024 and was delivered over the course of six months. Through this initiative, 9 FM engineers from Dar’s area offices in Amman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait successfully earned the FMP designation. This achievement reflects not only the dedication of our teams, but also Dar’s commitment to supporting certified FM leadership in every office across our network.

This initiative reflects Dar’s continued efforts to build FM leadership and reinforce technical consistency across its offices. With newly certified professionals now embedded across the network, Dar is further raising its ability to deliver world-class, integrated FM solutions that anticipate and meet the evolving needs of clients throughout the region.
