DCD Connect MENA brings together the data centre industry to explore the development of digital infrastructure for the AI era. As demand for AI infrastructure continues to shape the data centre landscape, Dar, a Sidara company, will participate in DCD Connect MENA 2026, taking place on 26–27 October at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, with two of our colleagues from the Data Centres & Mission Critical sector team representing Dar in two panel discussions focused on priorities shaping the next generation of digital infrastructure.
Shaimaa Hashem, Senior Associate Engineer, will participate in the Telecoms & Connectivity session, “What interconnectivity strategy will secure success in an unpredictable digital future?” The discussion will explore how interconnectivity strategies can adapt to evolving cloud and AI requirements, focusing on resilient connectivity and infrastructure readiness.
Saad Omeirat, Senior Associate Engineer, will participate in the Energy & Sustainability session, “Greenwashed gigawatts? Can hyperscale growth align with sustainability goals?” The discussion will examine the relationship between hyperscale growth and measurable sustainability outcomes, including the role of energy availability and efficient power and cooling design in enabling scalable digital infrastructure.
Across both engagements, Dar’s approach is grounded in planning connectivity, energy, sustainability and operational resilience together. Dar brings together planning, engineering and advisory expertise across the full data centre lifecycle, supporting clients from early planning through design, delivery and operational readiness, and helping them build scalable infrastructure and accelerate time to capacity.
Dar’s participation at DCD Connect MENA 2026 highlights its integrated approach to data centre development, where connectivity, energy, sustainability and operational resilience are measured together to support scalable infrastructure and evolving cloud and AI requirements.
