On Monday, 16 December, Dar proudly sponsored and participated in the multi-sectoral business seminar held by the Indian Embassy in Lebanon, an event dedicated to fostering deeper collaboration and trade ties between India and Lebanon. The seminar featured a distinguished panel discussion moderated by His Excellency the Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Md. Noor Rahman Sheikh, and included prominent figures such as Lebanon’s Minister of Finance, H.E. Youssef Khalil, Minister of Economy and Trade, H.E. Amin Salam, and Chantel Akl, Director General of the Ministry of Industry. Industry leaders and executives also joined the dialogue, adding valuable insights to the discussions.

Representing Dar, Communications Manager Haya Yahya highlighted the bilateral collaboration that Dar triggered, showcasing the company’s impactful ventures in India, covering key projects such as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link—India’s longest sea bridge—and the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. These projects demonstrate Dar’s role in supporting India’s strategic infrastructure development. The two-way collaboration has also opened doors for India’s exceptional design and engineering talent to contribute to Dar’s ambitious projects across the GCC, MENA region, Africa, Europe, and the United States.

With Dar’s new office opening in Bengaluru this year, the company reaffirmed its commitment to advancing connectivity, collaboration, and growth. The seminar served as a testament to the enduring partnership between India and Lebanon, and Dar’s contributions underscore its dedication to fostering innovation and excellence on a global scale.
