Last week, the health, safety, and environment (HSE) unit in Dar’s Project Management and Contracts Department was honoured with another Certificate of Merit for HSE Excellence and Continuous Improvement, awarded by the Deputy Managing Director of SGS – the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company and a widely-recognised global benchmark for quality and integrity.

This prestigious recognition is a testament to Dar’s foundational and ongoing commitment to excellence in health, safety, and environmental management. It highlights our team’s relentless efforts to incorporate the latest best practices and innovations to minimise risks as early in the lifecycle of a project as possible.

During the ceremony, our experts showcased the key features and benefits of our Key Performance Areas (KPA) Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) software. The SGS representatives, in turn, expressed their appreciation for Dar’s commitment to utilising advanced software to contribute to a new safety-focused culture in the construction industry.

Dar’s recently introduced KPA EHS software has further elevated Dar’s award-winning safety management processes by facilitating real-time data and analytics, comprehensive compliance management, and enhanced communication and collaboration. The new software brings our teams closer to our ever-standing objective of reducing work-related injuries and accidents on construction sites to zero.
