Saudi Arabia’s transformation is setting new benchmarks for cities and infrastructure, from major development programmes to preparations for Expo 2030 Riyadh and the FIFA World Cup 2034. As programmes of unprecedented complexity move from vision to delivery, the ability to connect data across places, assets and systems is becoming fundamental to how that transformation is planned and managed.

This will be among the central themes of the 5th Annual Kingdom Digital Twin 2026, taking place on October 6 at the Riyadh Airport Marriott Hotel, followed by a programme of workshops on October 7. The event will convene leaders from government, development, consultancy and technology to examine the evolving role of AI, geospatial intelligence and digital twins across the Kingdom’s built environment.

Dar will be represented by Majdi Saadeddine, Principal – Head of Technical Operations in Dar’s Digital Solutions and Services department, who will join the panel “Convergence of GeoAI and Digital Twins in KSA – Focusing on the Role of GIS/Spatial Data and the Ability to Link This to Project-Level Data.”

Majdi will join Dr. Mohammed Alsayel of the General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA), with Oliver Morgan, Partner – Real Estate Leader at Deloitte Middle East, moderating the discussion.

The session will explore the strategic initiatives supporting the growth of Saudi Arabia’s geospatial sector and how GeoAI is already being applied to accelerate digital twin adoption across major projects. It will also address the practical challenges of integrating spatial information from multiple sources into unified digital environments, and how national geospatial platforms such as GEOSA can connect more effectively with project-level data held by development companies.

These themes closely reflect Dar’s own work in digital delivery, including PARA OS, its digital twin platform, which brings together project, asset and spatial information within a connected environment to support more informed decision-making across the project lifecycle.

As Saudi Arabia advances towards increasingly connected, data-driven cities and infrastructure, the ability to link national geospatial intelligence with the information generated across individual projects will become ever more important.

Through Majdi’s participation, Dar will contribute practical experience in bridging geospatial intelligence, digital twins and project delivery, helping advance the conversation from connected data to connected decision-making.
