One of the industry’s leading recognitions for technology-enabled transformation in the built environment, this award celebrates organisations that demonstrate measurable digital impact across operations, collaboration, efficiency, and client outcomes. PARA OS was selected for its ability to turn complex and separated building data into actionable, real-time insights that reduce energy use, emissions, downtime, and cost all while enhancing comfort and resilience.

Developed and proven to work within Sidara’s “living lab” headquarters at 150 Holborn (London) and Dar’s HQ in Cairo, PARA OS connects more than 60,000 data feeds from over 650 sensors, unifying BMS, IWMS, and IoT systems into one intelligent platform.

Across two contrasting climates, PARA OS delivered measurable improvements in building performance. In London, the platform supported targeted energy and comfort optimisation, including a 22% reduction in energy use across key meeting-room zones. In Cairo, PARA OS reduced whole-building energy use by 28%, decreased unplanned work orders by one-third, shortened repair times, and improved the LEED O&M comfort score from 12 to 16 out of 20. PARA OS continues to strengthen both sites’ readiness for advanced smart-building certifications, including UL’s SPIRE Smart Building rating.

Moreover, insights from the living labs directly shaped Digital Ready Design (DRD), Dar’s design-phase guideline that ensures all future projects (complex like airports and hospitals) are delivered “digitally ready” from day one, with unified data architecture and open protocols. DRD is now a formal quality requirement across Dar’s portfolio.

Today, PARA OS is a commercial platform, deployed across assets in Toronto, Doha, and Dubai.
