Dar is proud to announce that Daniel Reynolds, Principal Landscape Architect, has been appointed to the judging panel for the Landscape Institute Awards 2026, one of the profession’s most prestigious platforms for recognising excellence in landscape architecture.

Particularly, Daniel will serve as a judge for the Dame Sylvia Crowe International Award for Small to Medium Scale Projects (up to 10 hectares), joining a distinguished panel of Landscape Institute members and industry experts who will be evaluating some of the most innovative and impactful projects from around the world.

As the UK’s chartered body for landscape professionals, the Landscape Institute plays a leading role in advancing the profession and promoting the value and power of landscape in shaping healthier, more resilient and sustainable environments. Its annual awards programme identifies, recognises, and celebrates the work that is setting new benchmarks for the discipline and influencing its continued evolution.

Daniel’s appointment is a significant professional recognition, reflecting his standing within the industry and his extensive experience in shaping complex, high-quality landscapes across diverse environments and contexts. Through his work, he has consistently championed design excellence, technical rigour and a thoughtful approach to creating places that respond meaningfully to both people and the environment.

Over the coming months, Daniel and his fellow judges will review and deliberate on submissions before selecting this year’s winners and highly commended projects. The awards will culminate in a ceremony in London this November, bringing together leading practitioners from across the profession to celebrate the projects, people and ideas that are helping shape the future of landscape architecture.

Daniel’s appointment also reflects the values and experience of Dar’s experts and their continued commitment to advancing professional dialogue, sharing expertise and contributing to the development of the global landscape architecture community.

We congratulate Daniel on this well-deserved appointment and look forward to following this year’s awards programme.
