The 27th issue of Dar Magazine – Standing Tall: Resilient Structures, Sustainable Communities  – is now available online. Spotlighting resilience and sustainability in structures and the built environment, the new edition explores the many ways they can shape the future of our communities.

From the Bataan–Cavite Interlink Bridge, a vital transportation link in Manila, to a new supertall building transforming Dubai’s skyline, our teams across Sidara demonstrate how durability can blend with the distinct character of iconic structures. On the cover, the Yusufeli Dam in Türkiye stands as one of the tallest of its kind, showcasing the challenges overcome by Su-Yapı in this monumental project.

Elsewhere, the new issue features stories of renewal, in TYLin’s quest to revitalise the quay wall of the historic Barcelona Port to accommodate next generation ships, and Dar’s inspiring narrative in creating the Central Park in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital.

The new issue also explores sustainability and innovative technology with Penspen’s sustainable pipeline design for captured CO2, an insightful analysis by Dar’s data scientists on how data-driven decarbonization drives progress toward net zero emissions, Introba’s newest guidebook on energy efficiency in buildings – Passivhaus, and more.

Finally, and for the first time, this issue introduces messages from Sidara’s three leading councils – the Sustainability Council, the Digital Council, and the Innovation Council. As the Home for Human Endeavor, Sidara strives to elevate sustainability, embrace digital innovation, and advocate for a more liveable world. These messages provide detailed insights into our progress in these key impact areas.

We hope you find this issue insightful and inspiring.
