The project was to develop a master plan surrounding the Kingdom Tower. Two options were developed: Garden City and Water City. Garden City was based on an axis that created vistas to Kingdom Tower and incorporated a valley park reflecting the natural landscape in the region. Water City was based on a series of canal networks with gardens and plazas as key amenity spaces throughout the master plan.
