About

Working in Partnership

We prize the relationship between you, the client and us, the consultant. At Dar, our whole approach in any particular project is modeled by your needs, culture, and specific environment. Working in individual partnerships with you, we bring our unique cultural perspective, sixty decades of experience and multi-disciplinary expertise within an integrated work approach.

Whether designing stadiums for the World Cup in Qatar or developing wastewater systems in Nigeria, we exceed our clients’ and communities’ expectations. Anticipating both their immediate needs and future concerns, we engineer imaginative solutions that last.

Our Working Principles

We are committed.
We get closer to our clients and people on a daily basis.

We have been helping Dubai International Airport expand its capacity since 1997. Our work has brought people closer together, and brought us closer to them.

We are challenging.
We challenge ourselves to find new and better ways for our clients and people.

In Kuwait, our team transformed an arid desert area into the GreenTech Corridor, a vision of clean energy, food security, solid economy, and more than 150,000 jobs. We yearn to attempt great things.

We are collaborative.
We build lasting and liberating partnerships with our clients and people.

When designing for dams to supply Greater Beirut with water, our Dar team met the communities affected by the construction. We made sure their concerns were taken into consideration.

We are continuous.
We help our clients and people make an impact over the long-term.

In Angola, we closely worked for years with the government on parliamentary buildings, water projects, and power plants. These projects are a legacy that will last for generations to come.

Going Behind the Scenes

Amidst the scorching desert, our engineers design windcatchers to cool the courtyards of Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University. In Algeria, our geotechnical experts design tunnels despite tricky swelling soils. Hundreds of kilometers away, in Angola, our water engineers measure the rainfall frequency in Namiba. In spite of the scarcity of records in the region, they succeed.

At Dar, we realize that small, smart design choices can make a big difference in people’s lives. In different climatic condition and in different geographical regions, our Dar teams embrace challenges on a day-to-day basis.
